Helping you find calm, clarity, and steadiness through times of change
Specialized in working with women and LGBTQ+ clients primarily in St. Louis and Lisbon
Offering in-person sessions in Lisbon and online therapy across Missouri, Portugal, and internationally.
A nervous system, IFS/parts-informed approach.
My work is grounded in nervous system awareness. When your nervous system feels calmer and more supported, it’s easier to feel unstuck, make clearer choices, and move forward with a sense of safety.
Whether you’re seeking peace, clarity, or the strength to create meaningful change, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and move forward with confidence.
I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for women and LGBTQ+ people who are navigating anxiety, trauma, nervous system regulation, or life transitions. I help people heal, embrace change, live more authentically, and feel more empowered.
Change is a stressor, whether it is something you wanted or not.
Sometimes we sense that something in our life needs to change, but we’re not sure what, or we feel afraid of what that change might mean. For many people, change activates the nervous system’s threat responses, even when the change is meaningful or desired.
You don’t have to face that alone. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or longing for more meaning, therapy can help you uncover the parts of yourself that want healing and those ready to grow.
You might feel pulled in two directions: one part of you wants something new, and another part feels scared or resistant. In our work together, we’ll bring compassion and curiosity to all those sides of you, helping you make sense of what’s happening inside. When each part of you feels understood and supported, change becomes possible in a natural, lasting way..
My Approach.
As an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, I help you build a compassionate relationship with yourself, including parts of you that fear or resist change. Together, we’ll create a sense of inner safety that allows healing and growth to unfold.
My IFS work is closely integrated with Polyvagal-Informed Therapy and nervous system awareness. We pay attention to how your body responds to stress, safety, and connection. We work at a pace that helps your nervous system feel supported rather than overwhelmed.
I also integrate:
Mindfulness-Based Therapy – Cultivating awareness, presence, and acceptance.
Energy Psychology – Using body-based techniques to support emotional processing and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Awareness of thought patterns and emotional habits.
EMDR – Processing trauma and painful memories that make change feel unsafe.
Feminist Theory – Understanding how cultural and systemic factors influence your story and reclaiming empowerment and authenticity.
Other Theories – Being open to many schools of thought, depending on the needs of the individual client.
Who I Work With
I specialize in supporting:
Women navigating life transitions or identity shifts
LGBTQ+ individuals exploring gender and sexual orientation
Survivors of trauma or domestic violence
Those struggling with anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Anyone longing to feel more authentic, grounded, and at peace
A Safe and Affirming Space
It’s completely normal to both want change and fear it at the same time. In therapy, you don’t have to hide those conflicting feelings, we will welcome all of them.
My practice is rooted in inclusion, compassion, and deep respect for every part of you. Whether you’re beginning a new chapter or unsure what that next step looks like, I’m here to help you find your way forward with clarity and self-acceptance. We work with your nervous system, not against it, creating conditions where your body and mind can gradually experience more ease, safety, and trust.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and psychotherapist in Missouri, offering trauma-informed therapy grounded in nervous system awareness and parts-based work through secure video sessions.
