In-person Therapy & Energy Work in Lisbon
Specialized in working with women and LGBTQ+ clients in Portugal.
Offering in-person sessions in Lisbon and online therapy across Portugal and internationally.
A nervous system, IFS/parts-informed approach.
The Space
In-person sessions take place in an integrative wellness space in the Avenidas Novas area of Lisbon. The office is quiet, light-filled, and intentionally designed to feel welcoming and grounded. From the first visit, I had a clear sense that this would be a supportive setting for clients to do meaningful healing work.
Large windows offer a distinctly Lisbon view, contributing to a sense of openness and steadiness that I notice in my body as soon as I arrive for the day.
The office is home to a range of therapists, coaches, bodyworkers, and wellness practitioners. This integrative setting supports my work as a therapist, allowing space for both talk therapy and nervous system–informed, somatic, and energy-based approaches.
The calm, light-filled setting for your in-person therapy sessions in Lisbon.
Psychotherapy and Reiki in This Setting
I am glad to be able to bring the worlds of psychotherapy and energy work together in this space. Depending on your needs, goals, and preferences, you may feel drawn to one, the other, or a combination of both.
Psychotherapy sessions draw from the same approaches that guide my work across all settings. I am a level-2 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and integrate nervous system and polyvagal awareness, mindfulness, and a feminist, relational lens. This is the talk-based side of the therapeutic work and focuses on understanding patterns, building capacity, healing trauma, and supporting meaningful change. You can read more about my overall approach to psychotherapy here.
I also offer energy work, including reiki, as a distinct service. Reiki is a gentle practice that works with the body’s existing energy system to support regulation, relaxation, and healing. Sessions can help calm the nervous system, support emotional processing, and work with areas of held or unresolved experience in the body, including areas where trauma has been held in the body. This work is not a substitute for mental health treatment.
If you are unsure which type of session would be most supportive, we can talk through options together. Some people move fluidly between psychotherapy and energy work over time, while others are seeking one experience or the other. We will approach this collaboratively and thoughtfully, with attention to pacing and boundaries.
Who This Work Is For
Many of the people I work with are navigating transition, identity questions, or a quiet sense of emotional fatigue. On the outside, they may appear capable or high-functioning, while inside they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to slow down and tend to themselves. For some, there is a disconnect between the slower pace of life they expected in Portugal and the anxiety or pressure that still lives internally.
I often work with women and LGBTQ+ people who are exploring who they are, healing from trauma or chronic stress, or noticing long-standing patterns in relationships or within themselves that no longer feel sustainable. Some clients come with clear goals, while others arrive simply knowing that something inside them needs care, attention, or space to be met differently.
If you are longing to feel more grounded, more authentic, or more at ease in your own body or in the outer world, this work may be a good fit. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We begin where you are.
Specializing in helping people embrace their most authentic selves.
